Scenario 5

Suppose you are returning to school and the college you are considering offers two different options for obtaining a degree.

Option 1: Your program takes 4 years to complete, and you will work with passionate instructors committed to your intellectual growth, and you will finish the program with deep knowledge of your subject area. The total cost is $40,000.

Option 2: Your program takes 2 years to complete, but the instructors are less passionate, have no commitment to your intellectual growth, and you will finish the program with less knowledge of your subject area. The total cost of this program is $10,000.

Question 1: Between these two options, taking all things together, which do you think would give you a happier life as a whole?

Question 2: If you were limited to these two options, which do you think you would choose?

Question 3: Between these two options, I would feel a sense of conflict between my values in trying to make a decision
